And becoming a Mod is almost impossible isn't it?

No, it's not impossible. Simply mail Matt, Bryan, Kraut Scientist or I an application, and explain why you would be a good moderator. However, moderators aren't chosen lightly. It's a big responsibility to be a moderator. One should not apply for the sole purpose of having a moderator rank. If you know you can't keep up with the site and maintaining it, you shouldn't apply. You need to be on your toes for spammers and maintanance. Show us you can be depended on over time, be a good example to everyone and apply. If we are looking for a moderator and think you're the right choice, you'll be taken.

Becoming a Moderator is in no way impossible here on the forums. However those who ask for positions will usually not get them. I know I'm not one to say, for when I was originally hired as a Moderator, I had asked beforehand. However, even when the forum was smaller, and there were only the two administrators without any other staff, there was a requirement for devotion. If you're interested in becoming a Moderator here, you have to show patience, devotion, quality posts, and you must demonstrate that you can follow the forum rules without having to be reminded of them multiple times.

If you do these things, you will someday be considered. Patience is probably one of the hardest things to do.

Out of curiosity: Do you guys have a Big Daddy Rank? If not think you can make that the highest when someones not an Admin or Mod?

Ranks are being worked on. Nothing has been made official yet, but users might have ranks based on professions in Rapture, while moderators like Kraut or I might have Big Daddy ranks. Big Daddy's are Rapture's moderators afterall. Kraut might have "Big Sister" while I may have "Big Daddy". Reporters might have the rank of "Journalist", and Administrators Matt and Bryan might have the ranks of "Ryan" and the other "Fontaine". It's not official though, we are still working on it, and things can always change. We'll see when time comes.

I still say Id make a good Big Daddy rank. I know how to use my temper to keep people in line, I still say you should have like a Sheriff's type of position on here and add them as a Big Daddy Rank.
