Spoilers--- who wants to wait till next week?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The first few pages and a half talk about 2k Marins developers and how they have "gigantic shoes to fill", they went on talk about how Ken Levine isn't going to have a major role with B2 since he has other side projects with 2k Boston, but he will have a side job with him checking on the project from time to time, and giving his opinions on what fits and what doesn't. So basically he still has a role in B2 but in a much smaller since. They joked around in one part saying how alot of the plot for B2 came from Levine..they said "it was funny, so we had a developer meeting with all of the 2K Marin staff and Ken. We began brain storming, and Ken was just sitting there rejecting our ideas one by one. It was hilarious..." (not exactly word for word)...
They had a small interview on the side of the page with Bioshocks level designer and he explained how he wants to keep the previous Bioshock-esque feel, and the extreme detail with Bioshock 2. It also mentioned how he was the lvl creator for Fort Frolic and how people loved the lvl so much he was promoted for all the level designers in Bioshock 2. He also spoke about the effects of using the new Unreal Engine 3 and how he has more freedom to do what he wants with the levels, from extreme level destructibility, to beautiful environment...
It also contained a fairly large sect. about the new little sisters role in Bioshock 2, and basically explains who you play as, and explain what the Big Sister is, and explain the basic plot of BS2. I'm not going to post the info since it really is the major reason you'd want to buy the magazine, but if you pm me I'll give you it...
There was a lot of concept art and a few in game screen shots. There was one area (and the only that was in the mag) that caught my attention. It sort off looks like a city within Rapture, from what I can tell there were various food vendors, and different shops with a lot of retro neon on the buildings, various posters, and throughout the city there are trolleys running about (though they were tipped over), and there were stringed lights running throughout the city it looked really pretty. It sort of reminded me of a mesh between Farmers Market, Fort Frolic, the Kashmir Restaurant (In the Welcome to Rapture bit), and Appollo Square. It's a weird mix but it definitely has that Bioshock persona...
There was also various concept areas for Bioshock 2 they didn't name any of the areas in the concept art nor the screen shots. one area sort of looked like a huge football stadium (or baseball couldn't really tell) with various shopping districts surrounding it (Ryan's Raiders anyone??), there was another 1 that looked like Fort Frolic but different I guess (though it had that Fort Frolic design from what I could tell), and the rest of it were different concept pic of the new little sisters, and the Big Sister...pretty slick looking...
