Now that we know exactly where the locations are for this August 8th event, who will be going to any of them? Lets see if we can get at least one person to go to each of the events, that way we can have each individual report on their findings. I will keep track of who is attending which event. 5:58 AM - Jones Beach, NY - (US) (Master_B)

I've already gone and put Master_B at the New York event because he lives pretty much right there, and I'm just assuming he's attending. As for me, I'm thinking I might plan a road trip to the NY event as well. Probably wont happen though because my car will most likely fall apart before I even get halfway there.

( This is all just assuming there actually will be live events at these places on this date. Why else would they give specific locations and times?)

Im drawing a blank. What is this all about? I live about 10 minutes from Santa Monica, CA.

They lots of people are speculating that the places and times they recently put up on the website will actually have live events happening on August 8th. If you haven't heard yet head over to the 2k forums and read it up.

My girlfriend and I will be going. I'm gonna bring a video camera with me and hope to record it. I'll post it on my facebook and on Youtube.

I'm still curious as to what I'll find there. It might be actors dressed the part putting up an act, or it might turn out to be a treasure hunt where an item vital to the story could be retrieved by a fan. If that's the case, there might just be 1 item waiting for someone there. If you are going to any of these locations, make sure you get there early to get whatever's there before someone else does and you blow your chance. Just to be safe.

You dont know how jealous I am of you. See if you can grab multiples of whatever is there? haha. If so I would love if you could send me whatever....

Will do ;) But that's just specilation. It could just end up being coupons for a Bioshock 2 discount, or even better. A coupon for a free Bioshock 2 copy. You know, I have no clue what's gonna happen, or what awaits, and I guess I'll stop speculating. It could be nothing afterall, but even that's a speculation afterall. We'll see how it plays out.
